The Maverick now comes standard with a 2.0L Ecoboost four-cylinder good for 250 hp and 277lb-ft of torque, while the hybrid powertrain making 191 hp and 155 lb-ft is now optional. The former comes equipped with AWD only and an 8-speed auto, while the latter can be had with FWD only and gets a CVT automatic.

The manual rear sliding window has been switched for a power unit on all trucks (XL, XLT and Lariat), while remote start and 400-watt inverter now come as part of the XLT Luxury package (that also adds a drop-in bedliner) as opposed to being standalone options.

New colours include Azure Grey and Terrain, while Area 51, Avalanche Grey, Cyber Orange and Alto Blue are no longer available. The Lariat now gets Co-Pilot 360 drive assist and wireless charger as standard.

Inside the redesigned interior, Ford has added available wireless charging, larger console storage bin, available second upper glovebox, as well as fold-flat rear seatbacks and redesigned underseat storage. The standard engine is a 2.7L EcoBoost four-cylinder turbo rated at 270 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque, with the upgraded V6 providing 315 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. 2024 also sees Ranger Raptor come to Canada for the first time, powered by a twin-turbo 3.0L V6 good for 405 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque.

Although all 2024 Rangers get the added capability of a fully boxed steel frame and reconfigured suspension, the Raptor goes the extra mile by adding more ground clearance, Fox internal-bypass shocks and active exhaust system.

The 2024 Ranger can tow up to 7,500 lb and is available only as a 4-door crew cab with 5-foot bed.

The ultra-popular F-150 has been refreshed for 2024, adding new grille and wheels designs and special lighting elements. It also gets an all-new Pro Access Tailgate that allows users to open just a portion of the tailgate for easier bed access with trailer attached.

For 2024, the F-150 comes available in 7 trims: XL, STX, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and Raptor. The non-turbo gas engine previously available at base has been replaced by a 2.7L turbo V6 good for 325 hp, a 5.0L V8 and 3.5L V6 twin turbo both making 400 hp and a hybrid option also good for 400 hp. With the added electrical power found in the Powerboost hybrid, Ford is able to fit the more powerful of three available Pro Power Onboard generators.

Inside, Ford’s Blue Cruise handsfree driving is available for the first time and the previously optional 12” infotainment display now comes as standard. The off-road Tremor, meanwhile, gets a front-mount winch option and accessor light bar as well as a much more aggressive grille and headlight treatment.

Cab styles include Regular, SuperCab and SuperCrew and there are three bed lengths: 5.5 feet, 6.5 feet and 8.0 feet.

For those looking for a little more punch from their pickup, the Raptor returns for 2024 with new Fox dual live valve shocks that include position-sensitive compression control. Power from the Raptor’s 3.5L EcoBoost V6 is rated at 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque.

The Super Duty trucks return for 2024 after a complete redesign in 2023 that brought all-new styling and tech. For 2024, Ford has made the 6.8L V8 engine (405 hp, 445 lb-ft) Flex Fuel capable, while also removing the 6.2L V8 from the lineup while the 7.3L (430 hp, 485 lb-ft) remains, as does the 6.7L turbodiesel V8 (475 hp, 1,050 lb-ft or 500 hp/1,200 lb-ft in high-output spec).

2024 also sees the arrival of onboard scales and smart hitch to the F-250/F-350 XL and XLT models (those join Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and Limited in the line-up) while the Lariat now gets connected navigation as standard.

The Super Duty can be had with either a regular cab, super cab or crew cab and with two bed lengths: 6.75 feet and eight feet.
