Is There Something Lost in The Translation?
The good thing about this is that it comes pretty much loaded and the price is on par with other vehicles in this class with similar features.

What you get is:10 way power adjustable driver’s seat, tilt and telescoping steering wheel with radio controls, automatic climate control, USB/ iPod interface, Rockford Fosgate premium stereo and a full complement of airbags. There is no navigation system available, not even as an option.

This is the only car in this segment, other than the Subaru Legacy that comes with standard all-wheel drive for under $30,000. A definite selling feature.

The interior is black. Again, it is the only choice you have. The dash is a mix of hard plastics and soft touch materials. Controls and buttons are well laid out in the centre stack that has piano black gloss finish and chrome highlights throughout.

The Kizashi is one of the smallest cars in this mid-size class. If you are shopping around you will very easily be able to see the difference given the shorter wheel base. Sitting in the driver’s seat, I couldn’t tell see much of a difference but the passengers in the second row will. Toyota, Honda and Nissan are all superior here.

The back seat folds forward with a 60/40 split and you get adequate trunk space. The competition has an edge here as well.

Being in the driver’s seat is what is most important in a car and sitting behind the wheel of this Kizashi I have some very mixed feelings.

As with the styling, the suspension is European –tuned to give you both a great ride and responsive handling. There is good feedback to the driver and it takes corners very nicely. A great car for city driving.
