Following a successful debut for the inter-provincial championship, organizers of the Ontario and Quebec Formula 1600 championships have finalized the schedule for the 2015 edition of their parthnership. The season will start May 15-17 at the Castrol Victoria Day SpeedFest with the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. Next is the Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada, June 5-7 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. The third round will be at Shannonville Motorsport Park July 18-19 and the series champion will be crowned at the final event, the Grand Prix Trois-Rivieres, July 31 – August 2nd. “The first season for the Super Series was very exciting and proved that the concept was good. The Championship came down to the very last race and Chase Pelletier won it in very dramatic fashion. This year we expect the same,” said Quebec's Marcel Lafontaine.
