German car manufacturer Audi has been at the Paul Ricard test track in southern France last week, completing some 30 hours of running with its Le Mans R18 e-tron Quattro LMP1s.
The team traditionally performs a major endurance test at the high-speed circuit with a long straightaway to set-up its cars for the specific demands of the Le Mans track.

This year’s R18 e-tron quattro was equipped with the full low-drag specification aero kit designed for the high average speeds of more than 240 km/h per lap at Le Mans.
All nine Audi LMP race drivers (Marcel Fassler, Andre Lotterer, Benoit Tréluyer, Lucas di Grassi, Loic Duval, Oliver Jarvis, Filipe Albuquerque, Marco Bonanomi and Rene Rast, plus reserve driver Mike Rockenfeller) shared driving duties, covering a total distance of more than 6,500 kilometers between Monday and Thursday.
