While Hyundai has just finished an advertising campaign revolving around the iPad offered with its luxurious Equus, USA Today revealed that the Korean manufacturer will no longer give away the popular Apple product for the 2012 model, neither in USA nor Canada.
A spokesman from Hyundai Canada confirmed to Auto123.com yesterday that the iPad would no longer be available to 2012 Equus shoppers, when the car will be delivered to dealers a few months from now.
Justifying the decision, Hyundai Canada mentioned that the iPad was a one-year promotion to advertise the sedan. We have to admit though, that replacing the impressive owner’s manual by a tablet was an excellent promotional tool.
