GR Supra
Now in its second year on the market, the reborn GR Supra benefits from several improvements. First, its 3.0L, 6-cylinder turbocharged engine now offers 382 hp and 368 pound-feet of torque, gains of 47 and 3, respectively. This will cut by 0.2-second its 0-96 km/h acceleration time, to 3.9 seconds.
The chassis gets some revisions as well, particularly to the front strut height. Aesthetically, the brake calipers will now bear the Supra inscription.
Other than that, a new engine makes its debut. The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine delivers 255 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. Aceleration remains interesting ( 0-96 km/h takes 5 seconds), especially since we're talking about a car that’s lighter by 300 lb.
Finally, a limited edition called A91 will be in the lineup in 2021. It comes in an exclusive blue colour, with decorative stripes on the C-pillar, a black carbon fiber rear spoiler, matte black wheels and seats with contrasting blue stitching.
The Supra itself already being a limited-edition model, don't expect to see A91 variants on every corner. Just warning you.

Prius/Prius Prime
With the brand's hybrid duo, the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) 2.0 safety suite is now standard with every trim. Blind spot and rear cross traffic alerts are added to the Prime version with the Enhanced Package.
The Prime Technology version comes with new alloy wheels.

C-HR
Like the Prius, the C-HR model inherits the TSS 2.0 suite as standard across the range. It also sees a new Nightshade SE edition added to the lineup. Again, the emphasis is on black, including the roof, door handles, 18-inch alloy wheels, logos and front skirt. Four colours are offered for the exterior: Black Sand Pearl, Magnetic Grey, Blizzard Pearl and Supersonic Red.
Highlander
The Highlander is the second model, along with the Camry, to receive the new generation of Toyota's safety suite, the TSS 2.5+. Above all, a new XSE variant is added to the lineup. This new variant will feature a sportier tuned suspension, 20-inch alloy wheels exclusive to the model, a distinctive grille, redesigned front and rear bumpers, dual exhaust, smoked effect headlights and lights and black mirror caps. The XSE gets a starting price of $48,450 and sits atop the L, LE and XLE trim levels, but with a view up to the Limited and Platinum models.
4Runner
With the 4Runner, the ultimate all-terrain adventurer of the Toyota lineup, an entry-level version is added to the range, named Trail. It comes with 17-inch dark grey TRD off-road wheels, black logos, black fabric seats with brown stitching, a Yakima roof basket, a color-matched Toyota cooler, and a sliding cargo tray in the rear.
Note that LED headlights and fog lights are now standard with the 4Runner model.
Tacoma
The Tacoma midsize pickup also inherits a Trail package for 2021, which basically translates into the addition of a basic Crew Cab Short Bed version. It features 16-inch off-road wheels, side steps and black fabric seats with brown stitching. Price of this newcomer: $43,770.
At the other end of the spectrum, a new Nightshade edition is also added to the family. This Limited-derived model features a black grille, black door handles and mirror caps, black exhaust tips and black logos. Even the wheel nuts and locks are black. The bill? $52,150. Yes, ouch!
Tundra
A Trail edition is also added to the Tundra range. It’s built from an SR5 version and comes with 18-inch off-road wheels with dark grey finish, black logos, fabric seats with brown stitching, 1794 variant grille with color-matched frame, and side steps.
TRD Pro
Finally, for the four models that are built on a ladder chassis (4Runner, Sequoia, Tacoma and Tundra), the TRD Pro Package is available in a new flagship colour, Lunar Rock. In the case of the 4Runner, new wheels are also available, and the shock absorbers of this variant have been recalibrated.
