3 - Midsize car: Toyota Camry
Toyota comes up tops again in this larger sedan category. The Camry has always been considered a wise and ultra-reliable sedan, so this isn’t news. But while popular with taxi drivers, for example, the Camry suffered from an inability to deliver much in terms of driving pleasure.
Substantial improvements in that regard came with the 2018 redesign of the Camry, which gave the model a slight dose of sportiness - especially in the hybrid version! Additionally, the automaker continnues to offer a base version and a V6-powered edition, not to mention the reworked version from the TRD performance division.
Want more? The Camry will even be available with all-wheel drive later this year. The introduction of such a drivetrain is sure to please many Canadian motorists.
“…let’s give credit where it’s due. Toyota has always managed to make its Camry an attractive proposition to its clientele, which is why odds are very high someone in your circle of friends, family, etc. owns one. And… Toyota understood that reliability alone is no longer enough. The new edition of the Camry is thus a much more attractive car, which manages to outdo many of its segment rivals in terms of looks.”
