When a pickup is out of the question

2. Ford Expedition/Lincoln Navigator

The Ford Expedition is the main competitor of the Chevrolet Tahoe/GMC Yukon, while its extended-cab Max version falls in the weight class of the Suburban/Yukon XL. The Lincoln Navigator and Lincoln Navigator L are luxury versions of the Expedition, meanwhile, and line up opposite GM’s Cadillac Escalade. What’s more, both of the Navigators come with Ford’s 3.5L EcoBoost V6, giving them the power to pull RVs (or any other trailer able to be conventionally hitched at the rear) weighing up to 9,300 lbs, depending on the optional equipment chosen! Word in the industry has it that there could well be an all-aluminum-body version on the horizon, and if so that could mean the same for the Expedition!
