Aston Martin released new information about the Virage and Virage Volante prior to their debut at next week's Geneva Motor Show.

Slotted between the DBS and DB9, the cars will feature a hand-built, 6.0-litre V12 engine that produces 490 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque through a six-speed automatic transmission.

Achieving a perfect 50:50 weight distribution, they rely on a newly-developed Adaptive Damping System (ADS) that intelligently 'reads' the road in order to adapt to different conditions. Further aiding driver control is a push-button sport mode that provides a sharper throttle response and faster gear changes.

Both the Virage and Virage Volante come standard with a Garmin navigation system, a 6.5-inch high-resolution display, heated sports seats, cruise control and a powerful 700-watt premium audio system.

Aston Martin will announce pricing in Geneva. Visitors at the show will also get to see the brand's newest models including the V8 Vantage S and Cygnet, which will enter production later this year.
