•    Chrysler shows off is vision of the cabin of the future at CES.

•    The Synthesis Cockpit Demonstrator shows how much easier life could be for drivers thanks to greater connectivity.

•    The study also features sustainable materials, a new reality of the interiors of our future vehicles.

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) taking place this week in Las Vegas has become an excellent showcase for automakers over time. Given today's highly sophisticated products, what they have to showcase fits perfectly with the spirit of this annual celebration of technology.

Stellantis is set to present its electric Ram tomorrow afternoon, but first the auto giant used the occasion of the CES to unveil a vision of what could be the future of vehicle interiors.

The Chrysler Synthesis, on display at CES, demonstrates the integration of Chrysler's contemporary, technological and sustainable interior design. Combined with other advanced technologies from Stellantis, this creates what the company calls Harmony in Motion, a more user-friendly, connected and efficient mobility experience for consumers' daily lives.

Chrysler says it will be the flagship of the company's upcoming artificial intelligence-based technologies, capable of adapting to driver preferences and automating certain functions, right down to driving. Chrysler calls it "Advanced Technology For Real Life" and says it will “create seamless, efficient and connected experiences between the customer and the vehicle.”

The cocoon being showcased at CES introduces the next generation of materials we're likely to see in our vehicles of the future. The simulation experience it will offer is meant to represent a day in the life of an owner. It optimizes the day's routes, coordinates with other smart ecosystems (home, phone, etc.) and even takes the wheel to allow the driver to perform other tasks by simulating Level 3 autonomous driving.

“For nearly 100 years, Chrysler has created ingenious products and technologies for mainstream customers, and Chrysler will continue that legacy of innovation as the first to launch the STLA Smart Cockpit in North America. The Chrysler Synthesis shown at CES 2023 represents the future of Chrysler brand design, technology and customer experience by introducing customer-centric design and intuitive, seamlessly connected technology for real life.”
