A unique event will see the smart fortwo showcased at major events in Quebec City, Montreal and Ottawa this month. Run throughout August, the city smart Test Drive Tour will promote and showcase the recently updated model. The smart fortwo is a small two-seater, rear engine car designed for customers after a practical and useful runabout that's as fuel-efficient as possible.
The city smart Test Drive Tour will allow participants to experience the comfort, safety, responsibility and fun-to-drive dynamics that have made the fortwo a smash-hit. The 2008 fortwo boasts added comfort and safety too- thanks to a list of advancements that complement its more aggressive look.
Mercedes-Benz Canada President and CEO, Marcus Breitschwerdt said, "The next generation smart fortwo has been an outstanding success since it arrived in showrooms at the beginning of this year. We would like to continue this incredible momentum by bringing the smart fortwo to major events throughout August to demonstrate the vehicle's impressive technology, exciting performance and proven safety track record."
The tour starts Friday, August 1st, and will be run from the Musée National des Beaux-Arts du Québec throughout the weekend. The event will carry on to the Montreal FestiBlues the following weekend before making a final stop at the Ottawa Super EX at Lansdowne Park.
