Course lets drivers exploit the full potential of their Porsche

For over 40 years, the Porsche Sport Driving School (PSDS) has been providing valuable driving training to fans of sports cars around the world. For Canadians, news that the programs will be offered in Canada for the first time this year is being greeted with strong approval and enthusiasm.

“Porsche Sport Driving School is yet another Porsche Driving Experience that we are excited to be able to offer to our customers and fans within Canada and joins the likes of our popular Camp4 Canada and Performance Tour events,” said Alexander Pollich, President & CEO, Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. “To be able to provide enthusiastic drivers a platform where they can finely hone their driving skills, all while putting a selection of our sports car offerings through their paces, will invigorate Porsche passion as well as provide a foundation for attendees to continue the program right up to a full racing licence.”

The Porsche Sport Driving School includes programs designed for different skill levels: Precision, Performance, Master, Master RS and Master RSR. Enrollees learn about optimal seat positioning, steering control, effective braking techniques, the principles of racing lines, weight-transfer scenarios, oversteering and understeering as well as the effective use of all the car’s electronic systems.

Courses will begin in May at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario. The cost of a two-day training session is $2,495. We suggest reserving your spot soon, as the number of available places is limited and demand is sure to be strong!
