The next-generation 2016 Nissan Maxima, briefly spotted at the end of the "With Dad" Super Bowl XLIX commercial, will make its official world debut at the New York Auto Show in April.
At first glance, it's easy to see a connection between the new 2016 Nissan Maxima and the Sport Sedan concept introduced in Detroit last year, which boasted a 3.5L V6 engine rated at approximately 300 horsepower. Chances are the unit will appear under the hood of the new Maxima, as well.
Furthermore, the Maxima's dramatic styling features Nissan's new design elements including the V-motion front end and unique "floating" roof that first appeared on the 2015 Murano crossover.
No other details were provided by Nissan.
