Reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion and Penske Racing driver, Brad Keselowski set the fastest time Friday in the first free practice session.

The first practice for the Camping World RV 301 Sprint Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway lasted 95 minutes under the sunshine, and saw Keselowski’s Ford beat Kyle Busch’s No. 18 Toyota for first place.

Juan Pablo Montoya, in the No. 42 Chevrolet got into the wall on his second lap and will have to go to a backup. The session was delayed by workers repaired the SAFER barrier.

There were a couple cautions during the session because of "weepers" on the track.

Qualifying Order for the Camping World RV 301 Sprint Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway is posted. 44 cars/drivers are listed.

The first of the drivers scheduled to go out is No. 15 Bowyer.

The final driver scheduled to go out is No. 33 Cassill.

Fastest in first practice, No. 2 Keselowski, is scheduled to qualify 30th.

Qualifying order is set by a random draw, held about an hour before the first practice.
