Just as the next-gen Optima was leaked a good month before it was to hit the showroom floor at the 2015 Frankfurt International Motor Show, the next-gen Kia Sportage sketches have also leaked online, but this time straight from the source as Kia provided the information themselves. And we gotta say, we’re impressed.
While sketches are usually pretty far removed from the actual sheet metal seen on the showroom floor, this one looks to be right in line with Kia’s design language and current style trends. The front fascia sports Kia’s newest front grille, and the back looks to sport sweeping LED taillights, a common sight in the auto industry now, but still attractive.
According to the press release Kia provided with the “leaked” images, this fourth-gen Sportage is all about “dynamic energy,” and it will make its world debut on September 15th at the ’15 Frankfurt International Motor Show.
