Jeep has chosen the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show, which kicks off next week, to introduce special editions of its popular SUVs.

First, the Jeep Wrangler Backcountry is based on the Wrangler Sahara and offers all the capabilities you need to tackle winter. Sporting a Backcountry decal on the front fender and rear panel, it rides on 17” Rubicon wheels finished in black and comes with a selection of five body colours (blue, black, white, granite, and purple). The cabin features leather inserts, an Alpine stereo, all-season floor mats, and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Wrangler Backcountry will go on sale in the U.S. later this month. Canadian availability has yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Night boasts numerous black parts including the roof, rear spoiler, B- and C-pillars, and grille surround. The satin black 20” wheels hide Brembo brake callipers borrowed from the Grand Cherokee SRT8. A 475-horsepower HEMI V8 engine sends this model from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in just 4.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of nearly 260 km/h.

The Grand Cherokee SRT Night will hit the market in the first quarter of 2016. Again, Canadian availability remains unspecified.
