Chrysler unveiled the S variants of the 200 at the latest NY auto show and has now announced pricing as well. A sedan will set you back $28,995 and a convertible model $39,495. That’s just $1,000 more than the Limited versions and, according to the manufacturer, you get an extra $5,000 worth of goodies.
From the outside, both “S” variants are characterized by a black grille and sporty, black-rimmed, 18-inch wheels with silver spokes.
The cabin inherits a perforated leather steering wheel, heated seats with suede inserts, “S” embroidery on the headrests and a black headliner (sedan only). A 276-watt Boston Acoustics CD/DVD/MP3 system with touch screen and 30-gig hard drive is also on board.
The 200 S sedan will arrive sometime this summer while the convertible will be delivered at the end of spring – just in time.
