Hyundai is now recalling more than 55,000 vehicles in Canada including 14,866 Elantra and Sonata sedans from 2011 and 40,288 Santa Fe SUVs from 2010-2011.
In some cases, the front suspension coil springs may be susceptible to corrosion. Over time, corrosion could cause the springs to fail, potentially damaging the front tires and causing rapid air loss and/or tire failure.
Hyundai Canada dealers will inspect and repair or replace the coil springs as necessary.
