The redesigned 2017 Kia Cadenza made its debut today at the 2016 New York Auto Show before going on sale later this year. Pricing has yet to be announced.
The full-size luxury sedan introduces the brand’s first 8-speed automatic transmission (developed in-house), sending power to the front wheels. It is reportedly lighter than the current 6-speed unit and mated to a 3.3L V6 engine that produces 290 horsepower.

The interior of the 2017 Kia Cadenza is more elegant and more luxurious than that of the previous generation. It offers Nappa leather, head-up display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and more.

Styling highlights include new 18” and 19” wheels, fully redesigned bodywork from Kia’s design studio in California, the signature “Tiger Nose” grille in a slightly tweaked, hexagonal shape, and LED lights. Base models sport a “Diamond Butterfly” grille design, while more upscale models wear the “Intaglio” grille featuring vertically oriented, faceted blades.

Further details about the 2017 Kia Cadenza will be released as we get closer to its on-sale date.
