Honda will unveil the completely redesigned 2016 Civic Coupe next week at the Los Angeles Auto Show – seven months after the concept debuted in New York and a week after the production Civic Sedan hit the Canadian market.
Expect much sportier lines, a more modern interior environment with cutting-edge technologies, and various powertrain options. If you don’t like the coupe or prefer a different alternative, Honda will eventually launch a redesigned Civic Si, the high-performance Civic Type-R (for the first time in North America), and a 5-door hatchback.
In related news, the new Honda Clarity Fuel Cell will make its continental debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show before going on sale in the U.S. sometime in 2016. It is the world's first production fuel cell sedan to house the entire fuel cell stack and drivetrain system in the front engine compartment. Honda promises a range of more than 300 miles (480 km) and a refueling time of approximately three minutes.
