Take it all in…

Pros: Not only is this car absolutely stunning and sophisticated to behold, but it is the most powerful RR to ever grace our roads. Opulent to the nth degree, this vehicle means serious business, always.

Cons: You’ll need to sell a kidney, and give over your first-born child just to own one. And it’ll be worth it.

2015 Rolls-Royce Wraith Price and Fuel Economy: Price? You really want to know the price? Well, OK. It can very, but will land in the $300k range. Yes, you read that correctly. But did you expect anything else? As for fuel numbers, you’re looking at roughly 18L/100km. This is not a “green” car by any stretch of the imagination, and that’s a bloody good thing.

Improvements or changes: Well, for starters, the Wraith is a reborn model for Rolls-Royce. First existing in the 1940s as a special edition, then again in the ‘70s, this new Wraith emerged just last year for this model year and so is a “brand new” vehicle in the lineup. This particular RR is built on the BMW 7 Series platform, based in the Ghost chassis, and is a grand coupe or rather a four-seat two-door.

Powertrain: As mentioned above, this is the most powerful Rolls-Royce in their lineup. Equipped with a 6.6L twin-turbocharged V12, the RR Wraith unleashes 624 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque.

All that power is handled via a pretty awesome system known as a Satellite Aided Transmission (that’s paired to the 8-speed automatic) that essentially reads the road you’re on via GPS and helps determine how your gearing should be mapped and will even determine which gear you should be in based on satellite derived speed limits etc. You never really have to think, just enjoy your time behind the wheel.

Of note: The Rolls-Royce Wraith weighs in at just over 5,200lbs and so within its 20” alloys sit massive disc brakes with four-piston calipers up front and singl-piston sliding pistons in the back.

Cargo capacity: This is no small vehicle (as evidenced by its sheer weight). And while the Wraith only has two doors, it has room for four and will swallow up 16.6 cu-ft of goodies.

Safety: The 2015 Rolls-Royce Wraith comes with all manner of safety features and airbags to keep all occupants and the driver safe from harm.

Comparing the 2015 Rolls-Royce Wraith: Bentley Continental GT Speed, Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe.
