The 2010 model year will be the last for this generation Focus, before it is replaced with a model similar to the current European edition. The fine-handling compact continues to be available in two-door coupes and four-door sedan models (wagons and hatches have gone MIA since model-year 2008).

All models are powered by the 140-hp 2.0-litre DOHC I4, mated to an either a 5 speed manual or 4-speed automatic.

Sedan trims lines are S ($14,999), SE ($17,699), SEL ($19,799) and SES ($20,399), while coupe trim lines are SE ($17,999) and SES ($20,199).

SES Sedan gets new front and rear fascia, while SE Sedan gets a new optional Sport Appearance Package (15-inch painted aluminum wheels, real deck lid spoiler, fog lamps).

More features are standard this year, including power locks with remote keyless entry, rear dome lamp, MyKey, Perimeter Alarm (except on S), and anti-lock brakes with Electronic Stability Control (ESC). Message Centre is now standard on the base model (S).

Notable options include block heater, moonroof, heated seats, and an ambient interior lighting package, where owners can scroll through seven colour options.

The Driver's Group package (optional on SE, standard on SES and SEL) includes speed control, leather wrapped steering wheel, and duplicate audio controls.

The Luxury Package (optional on SES and SEL) includes heated leather seats and power moonroof.

Focus was the first Ford to offer SYNC, which provides hands-free voice-activated control over most Bluetooth equipped mobile phones, portable digital media players, and files on USB keys (standard on SES and SEL, optional on SE when equipped with Driver's Group). SYNC-equipped models can also be optioned with the Premium Sound System.
