Also present was the all-new Jeep Liberty. Like the minivans, it was not available for a drive and given the limited amount of time we had to do the rounds, the information we got on the truck was limited.

What we do know is that it is built alongside the Dodge Nitro and they do share a good number of components. The Liberty, by contrast, is wider, longer and larger overall.
The big story has to do with the interior. The added room afforded by the larger dimensions is certainly welcome. The revised dashboard is better in every way and generally-speaking, the new Liberty has matured into a more-refined SUV. Also new is the optional Sky Slider full-open canvas roof created by ASC for Jeep.
Part of the day's event had us drive various Trail-Rated Jeeps through an off-road course. Click on the gallery for great pictures of Wranglers, Patriots and the JT Concept. If I was to make one comment, it would be this: Do not underestimate the Patriot.
